Bounded by lush green vegetation of the Malumpati Forest, a declared municipal watershed and park, also is the home of the most endangered hornbills in the world, the “Visayan Writhed-billed Hornbill” (Aceros Wadeni), locally known a “Dulungan” and also the “Visayan Tarictic Hornbill” (Penelopides panini) locally known as “Tirik”.
